Every candle is a ritual — please treat it with care.

Prolong the Life of Your Ritual

  • Keep the wick trimmed to 0.5cm (¼ inch).
  • Trim before each burn to ensure a good flame, to prevent bridging, and to prolong the life of your candle. 

Important: For a Safe & Serene Burn

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. 
  • Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Trim the wick before each use.
  • Tins get hot (especially near the end). Always use a heat-resistant surface and never burn on a wooden surface.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Discard when 1cm of wax remains at the bottom. 
  • Keep away from drafts.
  • Keep away from flammable substances and objects.
  • Keep a 10cm distance between each candle. 
  • Never extinguish with liquid. 
  • Fragrance oils may cause an allergic reaction. Please read the label on the bottom of the tin or on our CLP information page carefully before use.

If On Skin:

  • Wash with plenty of soap and water. If irritation or rash occurs, please seek medical attention.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.

What is your shipping & returns policy?

Orders under €49.99 are subject to a €6.00 delivery charge. All orders over €50 qualify for free shipping.

Please allow 1 - 3 business days before dispatch. Orders typically arrive within 4 - 7 business days.

Sunset Rose currently do not ship outside the island of Ireland.

What size is the candle? How much does it weigh?

Each candle tin measures 77mm (d) x 65mm (h) (250ml) and each candle contains ~200g of wax.

Every candle comes with a lid.

The total weight of each candle (including the wax, tin, lid, and product labels) is 250-270g.

Each candle is individually packaged in a lightweight white box.

What type of candle wax do you use? Do your candles contain paraffin?

Blended in Europe, our wax is made from 100% coconut oil & canola (rapeseed) oil - nothing else.

It's free-from paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax, and synthetic additives.

Are your candle tins recyclable?

Our candle-safe BPA-free rose gold tins are sourced from a sustainability-focused EU supplier.

Each tin is fully recylable or reusable.

Always leave 1/4 inch of wax at the end of the candle's life and clean out the tin before recycling.

Are your natural wax candles handmade in Ireland?

Yes! Each Sunset Rose candle is handpoured in small batches in Co. Kerry, Ireland.

What labels do you use?

Each candle features a laser-printed high-gloss white product label and is finished with rose gold foiling in-house to complement the rose gold color of the tin.
