About
Sunset Rose was created to romanticise the in-between — to honour golden hour and all it holds.
The pause from day to dusk. The flicker of a flame as evening begins.
Born along the coast of Co. Kerry, Sunset Rose began as a quiet creative escape — a ritual in itself. What started as slow evenings spent blending wax at the kitchen table grew into something more: a weave of scent, storytelling, the elevated everyday.
Rooted in Nature. Softened by Nostalgia.
From the first bloom of spring to the memory of salt air on skin, each candle evokes a place, a season, a moment that lingers. Rooted in nature. Softened by nostalgia.
Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using a paraffin-free blend of coconut and rapeseed wax, and infused with premium fragrance oils sourced across Europe. Natural wax and reusable vessels, always — because luxury should linger, not leave a trace.
Where Every Touch Blooms into Ritual
But this is more than scent — it’s a ritual. A gentle cue to slow down, breathe deeper, and let the light linger.
Welcome to Sunset Rose.
Your golden hour ritual begins here.
The Quiet Craft Behind Every Candle
Each Sunset Rose candle follows a slow, intentional process — from the first melt to the final seal.
- Melt the wax gently — kept low and steady, never rushed.
- Blend in the fragrance — stirred slowly to preserve its character and depth.
- Prepare each vessel — each tin hand-cleaned, each wick placed with care.
- Pour with intention — wax flows only when the temperature is just right, ensuring a smooth, even finish.
- Perfect the surface — once cooled, tiny air pockets are released and tops are smoothed using a heat gun.
- Allow time to deepen — candles cure for at least five days, letting the fragrance bloom to full intensity.
- Polish and finish — tins are cleaned, labels placed, and every detail inspected with care.
- Wrap with care — each candle is nestled in tissue, sealed by hand, and packaged with a thank you and care card — ready for its new home.
